A very interesting article entitled “The Amazon Publishing Juggernaut” in the July 8, 2019 issue of The Atlantic. As an author of two recently published e-books on Kindle, I find Amazon to be extremely beneficial, in no small part because you can promote your books directly to readers and book buyers in your genre. Kindle Direct Publishing is also extremely easy to use, and they pay royalties if your books are read in their lending program. You also get to see the number of pages being read in your books on a daily basis, if you are enrolled in that program.
